Accountant

Responsibilities:

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Prepare bank and other account reconciliations. Monitor income, expenses, budgets, and cash flow. Prepare invoices and process payments. Assist with payroll and tax-related activities. Maintain proper financial documentation and records. Assist with audits and provide required financial information. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and relevant standards. Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting errors. Provide management with financial analysis and advice.

Requirements:

Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification  (e.g., ICAN/ACCA) is an advantage. Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, depending on the position. Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Understanding of taxation and regulatory requirements. Strong numerical and analytical ability. Good attention to detail and accuracy.
