Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding DGIT’s cybersecurity footprint in the region. This role oversees the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying opportunities to developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with enterprise, government, and channel partners. The Sales Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with resellers, OEMs, and key decision-makers, ensuring alignment with DGIT’s cybersecurity offerings and strategic objectives. Daily activities include forecasting and reporting sales performance, coordinating with technical and marketing teams on go-to-market initiatives, and representing DGIT at customer meetings, industry events, and partner engagements. The role also includes mentoring sales team members, monitoring market trends, and contributing to strategic account plans and territory growth. Qualifications
Strong experience in B2B sales, account management, and pipeline development within technology or cybersecurity-related sectors. Skills in relationship building, stakeholder management, and partner/channel development to engage enterprises, governments, and resellers. Competence in negotiation, deal structuring, and contract management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Ability to analyze market trends, interpret sales data, and produce accurate forecasts and reports for senior leadership. Solid communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical solutions in clear business terms. Experience collaborating with marketing and technical teams on go-to-market strategies and solution positioning. Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, cloud solutions, and digital transformation initiatives; prior experience in cybersecurity distribution is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and the ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams. Legal authorization to work in Ghana and availability to work on-site in Accra, with flexibility for client visits and occasional travel.
