Head of Operations

Responsibilities:

Leading and coordinating the day-to-day Operations function, translating management priorities into operational plans, workstreams, timelines and accountable owners

Overseeing the coordination and execution of real estate development and project activities, including coordinating project managers, site personnel, contractors and consultants

Monitoring project schedules, milestones, budgets, procurement requirements, variations and delivery risks, and driving corrective action where issues arise

Providing operational oversight of property and facility management activities, ensuring properties are maintained to agreed service standards

Providing direction and performance oversight to Operations team members, and building a culture of ownership, accountability and professional execution

Preparing regular operational reports for the Managing Director, giving clear visibility on project status, risks and required management decisions

Reviewing existing operational processes and developing practical systems, workflows and controls that improve execution

Working closely with Commercial, Finance, Architecture, Construction and other functions where cross-departmental coordination is required

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Estate Management, Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering; a relevant professional certification is an advantage

Minimum of 7–10 years post-NYSC professional experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory, managerial or operational leadership capacity

Demonstrable experience within real estate development, construction, property management, facility management or a closely related built-environment organisation

Experience coordinating multiple projects, properties, contractors, consultants and operational teams

Strong track record managing operational deliverables, timelines, budgets, vendors and performance

Excellent reporting, process improvement, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

Location: Victoria Island

Remuneration: NGN  650,000 – 700,000 net monthly
