IT Business Systems & Integration Analyst

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyse operational and business requirements and translate them into technical requirements for IT infrastructure, networks, IoT devices and connected systems.
• Configure, deploy and integrate network infrastructure and associated technologies, including routers, switches, wireless networks, IP-based devices and connected equipment.
• Plan and carry out the configuration, deployment, commissioning and integration of IoT and smart-room technologies within hotel environments.
• Configure, calibrate and program PLC-based controllers and other programmable or network-connected control systems.
• Analyse system architecture, network connectivity and device communication requirements to ensure reliable integration between IT infrastructure, IoT devices, controllers and third-party platforms.
• Liaise directly with technology vendors, equipment manufacturers and service providers to define technical requirements, review proposed solutions and resolve implementation and integration issues.
• Act as a technical liaison with China-based technology vendors and engineering teams, conducting technical discussions in Mandarin Chinese where required to clarify system requirements, configuration parameters, integration specifications and implementation issues.
• Interpret Chinese-language technical documentation, configuration instructions and vendor specifications where required for system deployment and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with electrical contractors and other third-party contractors during installations, provide technical specifications and implementation requirements, and verify completed work against system requirements.
• Test and validate new systems and configurations before production deployment and carry out technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis where integration, connectivity or configuration issues arise.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure and systems and recommend improvements relating to reliability, performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Coordinate the technical implementation of new systems from requirements gathering and solution assessment through configuration, commissioning, testing and handover.
• Maintain technical documentation covering system configuration, network architecture, device integration, implementation procedures and system changes.
• Provide advanced technical analysis and resolution of complex infrastructure, network, IoT and integrated-system issues requiring specialist technical intervention.
