Production Manager
Location: Song Than 3 Industrial Zone, Binh Duong, HCMC, Vietnam Reports to: Operations / General Manager Direct Reports: Production Senior Supervisor About the Role We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily production operations in Vietnam. This role focuses on output, productivity, workforce management, SOP compliance, and consistent achievement of quality standards. You will lead supervisors, team leaders, and shift workers to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production aligned with process parameters and product requirements. Strong technical knowledge of carding and stitch bonding processes is essential. While procurement, supply chain, logistics, and QC are not part of this role, you are expected to foster a strong quality mindset across production teams. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production activities and ensure achievement of targets.
- Lead and supervise production teams across multiple shifts.
- Enforce strict compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and process parameters.
- Promote a strong quality mindset and accountability for defect free production.
- Monitor productivity, yield, waste, downtime, and labor efficiency; take corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure effective manpower allocation and smooth shift handovers.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and accountability within teams.
- Provide technical support on carding, stitch bonding, and coating processes.
- Collaborate with Engineering to minimize downtime and resolve equipment issues.
- Drive continuous improvement in efficiency and operational discipline.
- Ensure compliance with company safety requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- 8–10 years of production/manufacturing experience in nonwoven, textile, yarn spinning, or related industries.
- Strong background managing shift based production teams.
- Proven ability to manage supervisors, operators, and blue collar employees.
- Practical knowledge of carding and stitch bonding technologies preferred.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong production planning and execution capabilities.
- Hands on shop floor leadership and problem solving skills.
- Experience in training and developing operators and supervisors.
- Good communication skills in English.
