Backend Engineer (Golang)

1. What will you do

• Work closely with the tech lead, UI/UX team, and leadership to define, design, build, test, and deploy the scalable products in the investment space in Vietnam.
• Design and develop new features for the platform/system.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, clarify and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Participate in reviewing product design and code reviews.
• Improve system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing scalable solutions.
• Investigate and use new technologies where relevant.
• Communicate with other team members to determine the best solutions to difficult issues.

1. Background Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Have 1-3 years of experience in software development.
• Solid experience with Golang.
• Extensive experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL including performance tuning and optimization.
• Can do with application performance monitoring and optimization.
• Ability to plan the work on your solutions before writing code.
• Excellent at coding (the code is well documented and compliant with good practices) and testing (Unit Test, Integration Test).
• You understand the Big-O analysis of algorithms.
• Have good experience of cloud architecture/infrastructure, especially on GCP.
• Good at problem solving and teamwork skills.
