Procurement Specialist
Key responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, lead time, and reliability.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve competitive purchasing conditions.
Prepare, review, and follow up on purchase orders (POs), invoices, quotations, and procurement documentation.
Monitor material requirements and inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure timely material availability.
Follow up with suppliers on orders and deliveries and resolve any supply, quality, or delivery issues.
Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and act as the main point of contact for procurement-related matters.
Compare quotations and support purchasing decisions based on cost, quality, specifications, and delivery requirements.
Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare purchasing and supplier performance reports.
Coordinate with internal departments, including planning, warehouse, production, finance, and engineering, to ensure procurement requirements are fulfilled.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing activities.
Previous experience in the manufacturing or MEP construction sector is preferred.
Good knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control principles.
Experience in reviewing purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Good command of English.
Professional user of Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working with ERP systems is preferred; Odoo experience is a plus.
