Supplier Quality & Delivery Engineer

1. Supplier production planning & delivery: Follow up daily/weekly with suppliers on production status, capacity, material availability and committed delivery dates. Track outsourced jobs from PO release → material preparation → machining → inspection → sanding/deburring → anodizing/plating/coating → final delivery.
2. Delivery control & expediting: Maintain an accurate supplier job tracking system and identify delivery risks before the committed date. Expedite critical/urgent jobs, obtain realistic recovery plans for delayed orders, coordinate split deliveries when required, and escalate risks to Planning/Production/Management
3. Supplier quality management: Ensure suppliers understand drawings, GD&T, critical dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, cosmetic requirements and special-process requirements. Follow up first-off/sample approval, in-process/final inspection and supplier inspection reports for batch production.
4. Quality problem solving: Investigate supplier rejections and recurring defects using 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D and other appropriate methods. Coordinate corrective/preventive actions, verify effectiveness and ensure issues are closed within agreed timelines.
5. Supplier process control & development: Conduct supplier visits/process reviews when required. Assess machine, tooling, inspection-equipment and process capability. Support qualification and development of suppliers for CNC milling, machining, sanding, anodizing, plating/coating and other outsourced processes.
6. Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with Production, Planning, QA/QC, Engineering, Purchasing and Warehouse to align supplier priorities, quality requirements and delivery commitments.
7. Supplier performance improvement: Monitor and report supplier Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) performance, including OTD, acceptance/rejection rate, schedule adherence, response time and corrective-action closure. Drive continuous improvement with key suppliers.

Qualifications: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree Work Male / Female 3–5 years in precision machining, supplier quality, production planning or related manufacturing Working English able to communicate with suppliers and internal departments Good knowledge of CNC milling/machining, drawings & GD&T, inspection, dimensional control, surface finishing, anodizing/plating/coating and batch production. Able to use Excel, ERP/MES and supplier tracking systems. Knowledge of SPC, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA and process capability is an advantage. Strong ownership, proactive follow-up, disciplined, responsible and result-oriented. Good communication and negotiation skills; able to work under pressure, escalate risks early and maintain professional supplier relationships.
