Role Description The Licensed HVAC Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in

Arthur, ON. The technician will install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air

conditioning systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant operation. Day-to-day tasks

include inspecting systems, diagnosing issues, performing troubleshooting, and completing

preventive maintenance on HVAC and related plumbing components. The role involves working

with electrical connections, refrigerant handling, and control systems, as well as accurately

documenting work performed and communicating findings and recommendations to clients and

team members. The technician will collaborate with colleagues and follow company safety

procedures, standards, and schedules to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

Qualifications

? Must have a valid G2 gas license or higher.

? Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including experience in troubleshooting

HVAC system performance and failures

? Hands-on experience with plumbing systems related to heating and cooling equipment,

including piping, fittings, and system integration.

? Ability to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, including inspections,

cleaning, adjustments, and replacement of wear components.

? Knowledge of electricity and safe working practices around electrical circuits, controls,

and HVAC-related wiring.

? Valid EPA or equivalent refrigerant handling certification, with understanding of

environmental and safety regulations for refrigerants.

? Current HVAC technician license or certification as required by local and provincial

regulations in Ontario.

? Experience reading technical drawings, manuals, and schematics, and using relevant

tools and diagnostic equipment.

? Reliable communication skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team,

and commitment to workplace safety.

? Valid driver?s license and ability to travel locally to job sites as needed.

? Previous experience in residential or commercial HVAC service is preferred.

Pay: $27.00-$50.00 per hour
