Compliance & Bids/Tendering Officer

Responsibilities:

Identify and track relevant tenders and RFPs in the marine survey and offshore industries.

Prepare and submit compliant technical and commercial bids within deadlines.

Coordinate with technical teams to develop accurate and competitive proposals.

Interpret tender specifications and provide input on survey methodologies and costing.

Maintain pre-qualification documents, vendor registrations, and company profiles.

Monitor industry trends, client activities, and competitor strategies.

Support contract drafting, negotiation, and review with clients, vendors, and partners.

Ensure company operations comply with applicable maritime, corporate, and regulatory laws.

Liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g., NIMASA, NIPEX, NCDMB, IMO) for permits, certifications, and filings.

Conduct compliance audits, manage risk assessments, and advise management on mitigation measures.

Handle disputes, claims, and coordinate with external legal counsel when required.

Promote corporate governance, ethics, and compliance culture across the organization.

Provide periodic compliance reports to management and support staff training on relevant policies.

Requirements:

Minimum qualification of an HND 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
