Head of Deposit-Taking

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement deposit mobilization strategies. Set and monitor deposit growth targets for relevant teams and branches. Identify new customer segments and deposit mobilization opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with individual, corporate, and institutional customers. Develop initiatives to improve customer retention and deposit balances. Monitor deposit performance and prepare regular reports for management. Work closely with the marketing and business development teams to drive customer acquisition. Identify opportunities for new deposit products and services. Ensure deposit-taking activities comply with institutional policies and regulatory requirements. Provide leadership and motivation to deposit mobilization teams.

Requirements

Degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years' experience in deposit mobilization, retail banking, microfinance, or financial services. Demonstrable record of achieving business development and deposit growth targets. Strong sales, relationship management, communication, and leadership skills.
