HR & Admin Officer
Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
Support the recruitment process, including preparing job adverts, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
Coordinate onboarding and induction for new employees.
Prepare and maintain employee records, personnel files, employment documentation and HR trackers.
Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, lateness, leave and other employee-related information.
Assist with the preparation and administration of employment letters, confirmations, warnings and other HR correspondence.
Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures and workplace standards.
Assist with staff performance monitoring, appraisals and related HR processes.
Support employee engagement, welfare and staff communication initiatives.
Respond to routine employee enquiries and escalate sensitive or complex matters appropriately.
Assist with payroll-related HR inputs, including attendance, leave, deductions and other relevant employee information.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
Prepare routine HR reports and provide administrative support to the HR Manager.
Administration:
Support the day-to-day administrative operations of the Company.
Maintain organised records, documents and administrative files.
Coordinate internal meetings, staff communications and administrative activities as required.
Assist with office supplies, stationery and general administrative requirements.
Support coordination with vendors and service providers where required.
Assist with staff logistics, documentation and other operational requirements.
Ensure administrative processes are properly documented and followed.
Provide general administrative support to management and other departments as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
2–3 years' relevant experience in HR and administrative functions.
Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, wellness, retail or another service-oriented environment will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of HR administration and employee lifecycle processes.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
High level of confidentiality, professionalism and discretion.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at different levels of the organisation.
