Job Purpose The Finance Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the finance department, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and the efficient management of company assets. This role involves leading a team to maintain financial health and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Financial Oversight: Supervise daily accounting activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger maintenance.

Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local accounting standards.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the management team in developing annual budgets and monitoring variances throughout the fiscal year.

Tax & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.

Audit Management: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and ensure a smooth audit process.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and conducting performance reviews.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows and implement effective internal controls.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CPA or CPD license is often preferred). Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics). Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas). Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
