Carpenter

Civil X Utilities Limited, Murmod, Virginia, Co. Cavan, Ireland, requires experienced Formwork Carpenters to carry out external, site-based carpentry works on civil engineering, utility and construction projects.

Duties

• setting out, constructing, installing and dismantling timber and proprietary formwork systems for concrete foundations, bases, walls, chambers, slabs and other reinforced concrete structures;
• reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications;
• measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling timber and other formwork materials.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in formwork or shuttering carpentry is required.
• Suitable references confirming the candidate’s experience are essential.
• Candidates must be capable of working independently and complying with all applicable Irish health and safety requirements.

Salary

€48,133.80 gross per annum, for a 39-hour working week.
