*Duties*
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food supplies
- Collaborate with team members to meet service times during busy hours
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures
- Support kitchen staff in meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
*Requirements*
- Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably as a line cook or in food preparation roles
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience with meal preparation, food industry standards, and kitchen operations is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
