Job Summary
We seek a passionate Physics teacher to deliver IGCSE and IB Diploma instruction, inspire student progress, and build strong learner relationships at our enrichment centre.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Physics lessons across secondary levels, including IGCSE and IB Diploma curricula
- Develop and plan lesson resources to enhance student understanding of Physics concepts and techniques
- Collaborate with colleagues to design differentiated lesson plans and assessments tailored to individual learner needs
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, setting clear goals for academic improvement
- Provide timely formative and summative feedback to support student learning and potential realization
- Build and maintain positive rapport with students and parents to foster a supportive learning environment
- Adapt teaching approaches to engage students through student-centred, inquiry-based learning methods
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum three (3) years of full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related subject
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience teaching Science at Secondary, IGCSE, and IB levels
- Demonstrated passion for education with ability to deliver inquiry-based learning
- Dynamic, confident, and approachable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively as a team player
- Willingness to work on weekends under a 4 weekdays, 1 weekend working arrangement
