Shipping Personnel

Location: Lagos state Employment Type: Full time

Responsibilities

• Accompanying the delivery of goods to our customers instructed warehouse within Nigeria.
• Managing updating and monitoring open orders spreadsheet
• Maintaining a record of all communication with Original Equipment Manufacturer and customer in respect of all orders
• Generate reports on Purchase order progress, completion dates and production challenges
• Provide weekly update to our customers in relation to their orders and estimated delivery dates.
• Track orders from placement through delivery.
• Inspect orders upon arrival to ensure the correct quantity and product are supplied.
• Updating goods inventory record.
• Prepare Request for Quotes.
• Any other reasonable tasks as directed by the office managers

Requirements

• HND / BSc in Logistics or related field.
• 3+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain management or transportation.
• Willingness to travel.
• Must be articulate, and have good writing skills
• Able to work from home up to 5 nights a week during deliveries
• Knowledge of expediting and logistics is essential.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good time-management skills and excellent leadership skills.
