Facade Manager

Job Description Provide façade technical support and oversight across assigned projects under the HQ Architectural Team.

Manage and coordinate façade design development, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and completion activities.

Coordinate with architects, consultants, façade specialists, Professional Engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams on façade-related matters.

Review façade drawings, specifications, calculations, shop drawings, material submissions, samples, and mock-ups for compliance, buildability, and interface requirements.

Coordinate façade interfaces with architectural, structural, M&E, waterproofing, and interior works.

Identify façade design risks, technical discrepancies, and construction constraints, and lead the resolution of assigned issues.

Monitor façade design deliverables, submissions, approvals, procurement, and installation progress against project programmes.

Review proposed façade systems, materials, and construction methods for performance, durability, maintainability, cost, and construction sequencing.

Coordinate and witness façade mock-ups, performance tests, watertightness tests, and other required inspections and testing.

Conduct site inspections to monitor façade installation, workmanship, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

Coordinate the rectification of façade defects, water leakage, non-compliant work, and outstanding technical matters.

Support inspections, TOP/CSC close-out, as-built documentation, warranties, and project handover activities.

Provide regular updates to the Senior Corporate Architectural Manager on façade progress, key risks, outstanding issues, and decisions required.

Job Requirements Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering, Building, Façade Engineering, or a related discipline.

Strong background in façade design, technical coordination, and construction delivery, with experience in façade systems from design development through installation, testing, and completion.

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in façade design, engineering, coordination, or construction, preferably involving large-scale building projects in Singapore and within a main contractor or façade specialist environment.

Strong knowledge of curtain walls, cladding, windows, glazing, waterproofing, and façade interfaces.

Ability to review façade technical submissions, coordinate multidisciplinary issues, and manage façade deliverables, testing, and site installation.

Good leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit/BIM is advantageous.
