Site Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinate with subcontractors and client representatives, and ensure that construction works are carried out according to approved plans, schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards. This role focuses on site supervision, manpower and material coordination, progress monitoring, and ensuring smooth execution of works while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.

Location: new project near to Dover

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out supervisory duties for day-to-day site activities, including overseeing workers and coordinating with the client’s supervisory staff to manage inspections and other site matters.
• Ensure that all construction works are carried out in accordance with approved plans and designs.
• Ensure all works are completed according to the project schedule, comply with safety protocols, and meet the required quality standards.
• Coordinate with colleagues from different departments to ensure a smooth transition of works and minimise abortive works through regular discussions.
• Ensure proper preparation of work areas for subcontractors and adequate preparation of materials for work execution.
• Monitor subcontractors’ performance and evaluate work progress and manpower deployment to ensure adequacy and adherence to the project schedule.
• Maintain daily site records, including manpower, material usage, and work status.
• Attend all necessary site progress meetings and internal meetings as required.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all work practices comply with relevant safety regulations.

Requirement

• Possess relevant trade foreman certificate, BCSS etc. are highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• 6-day work week.
