Role Summary

CGi is hiring anOperations Manager to lead project delivery, field service, technical sales, andoperational and financial performance across Southeast Asia. The role willoversee waste gas treatment, fab-support solutions, sub-fab systems, complianceretrofits, and lifecycle services, ensuring safe execution, high servicequality, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, healthy cash flow, andsustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations for projects, fieldservice, maintenance, and lifecycle support across Southeast Asia.
  • Plan manpower, schedules, tools, materials,subcontractors, and logistics to meet project and service commitments.
  • Ensure work is delivered safely, on time, withinbudget, and in accordance with quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, preventivemaintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and compliance retrofit activities.
  • Establish and monitor operational KPIs coveringsafety, schedule adherence, service response, quality, cost, productivity, andcustomer satisfaction.
  • Manage operational risks, resolve deliveryissues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Build and develop a capable operations teamthrough coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Coordinate closely with sales, engineering,procurement, finance, and customers to ensure effective handover and execution.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, leadoperational reviews, and support service renewals and account growth.
  • Lead technical sales activities, includingopportunity qualification, solution development, proposals, costing, commercialnegotiations, and order conversion.
  • Own revenue forecasting and performance,coordinating with sales, project, service, and finance teams to achieve revenueand margin targets.
  • Manage billing milestones, invoicing,receivables, collections, working capital, and cash-flow forecasting to supporttimely cash conversion.
  • Drive process standardisation, cost control,productivity improvements, and accurate operational reporting.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering (Chemical,Mechanical, Electrical) or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience inoperations, project delivery, field service, or maintenance, includingexperience leading teams.
  • Strong understanding of wafer fabrication andhigh-tech industry support equipment, such as abatement systems, processchillers, vacuum pumps, heaters, gas and chemical systems, and facilitiesservices.
  • Preferred: Hands-on field or operationalexperience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Airpollution control equipment and scrubbers
  • Pumpsand chillers
  • Gasand chemical supply equipment
  • FacilitiesM&E, HVAC systems, and related services
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets,resources, schedules, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, commercialproposals, revenue forecasting, margin management, invoicing, collections, andcash-flow control.
  • Sound knowledge of workplace safety, qualitymanagement, regulatory compliance, and risk control.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholdermanagement, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused, results-driven, and able tomake sound decisions in a fast-paced regional environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM, ERP, service-management, andreporting tools is an advantage.
