Sales and Purchase Shipbroker

We are looking for an individual to join our Sales and Purchase Shipbroker Team.

The job scope of a Shipbroker is to act as specialist intermediaries/negotiators between ship owners of a vessel or to buy/sell on behalf of his clients.

Responsibilities would include

Negotiating and fixing of ships.

Marketing tonnages to clients

Maintaining a database of vessel positions, tonnage, rates, and cargos.

Monitoring the direction of the markets and advise clients accordingly to maximise profits.

Expanding and developing contacts with principals from both Owners and Charterers.

Preparing charter parties and other necessary fixture documentation, where required.

Develop new customer base whilst building strong relationship with existing customers.

Provide market updates and research for clients.
