The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, 2-3 years of cooking experience, and at least entry level knife skills. Line cooks are expected to be team players and work in a clean and organized fashion. Weekend and evening availability is a must.

Responsibilities *

• Have extensive knowledge of all food and beverage menu offerings;
• Ensures the daily mise-en-place of all items featured is completed and up to standards;
• Prepares orders accordingly to established standards and procedures;
• Participate in opening/closings of the Restaurant, ensure overall cleanliness, proper handling and routine maintenance of equipment, utensils and work areas;
• Adhering to international policies and external regulations such as Health & Safety, Public Health and AGCO
• Additional duties as assigned or required.

*Requirements*

• Previous kitchen experience is a must;
• Must have food handler certification;
• Must be able to work swiftly and efficiently;
• Must be team players, and the ability to understand and follow directions from others;
• Fluent in English and have excellent communication skills is preferred;
• Have open availability is an asset, including AM/PM on weekdays, weekends and holidays;
• Reliable transportation to and from work;
• Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment, lift up to 50 lb and stand for long periods of time;
• Can legally work in Canada and is bond-able.
