Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery across all departments. Lead and supervise hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Security, and Administration. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards. Monitor occupancy, room rates, revenue, expenses, and overall hotel profitability. Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to increase occupancy, revenue, and market share. Ensure consistently high standards of guest service and promptly resolve complaints and operational issues. Recruit, train, supervise, motivate, and evaluate hotel staff to maintain a high-performing team. Monitor staff productivity, attendance, grooming, discipline, and compliance with hotel policies. Manage budgets, operating expenses, purchasing, inventory, and cost-control measures. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, facilities, and service operations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, security, and regulatory requirements. Monitor guest feedback and implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and retention. Prepare operational, financial, and performance reports for management. Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency and profitability.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree/HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5–7 years' experience in hotel operations, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory position. Proven experience managing a hotel, resort, serviced apartment, or similar hospitality establishment. Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest relations, revenue management, and cost control. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Strong financial and commercial understanding, including budgeting and expense management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management/PMS software. Strong understanding of hospitality service standards, health and safety, and regulatory compliance. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple departments effectively. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Professional hospitality certification or relevant industry membership is an added advantage.
