The Platoon Supervisor will provide leadership, direction, and support to Public Safety Communicators while helping ensure the effective operation of PECC South and its systems. They play an important role in coaching staff, supporting operational readiness, and fostering a professional, service-focused environment that supports emergency responders and the public across Saskatchewan. QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12 diploma or equivalent. Ability to work in Canada. Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute accurately.Strong computer proficiency and the ability to learn and navigate multiple software systems.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Successful completion of a hearing assessment.Access to reliable transportation.Ability and willingness to travel as required.Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check.Successful completion of additional background screening, assessments, and verification processes as required for the position. ASSETSAPCO certification: Communications Centre Supervisor & Public Safety Telecommunicator Courses. (Will be provided in training)Leadership experience within a public safety or emergency communications environment.Post-secondary education. Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and support team performance in a fast-paced operational environment. TRAININGTraining for successful candidates will primarily occur in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and is expected to last approximately 16 weeks. WORKING CONDITIONSLocation: Provincial Emergency Communications Centre South, Regina, Saskatchewan. Hours of Work: 2,080 hours annually, shift work consisting of 12 hr shifts on a 5-5-4 rotationPhysical Demands: lifting, standing or sitting for long periods of time
