THE ROLE
CFMWS is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director Corporate Services to play a key role in ensuring organizational alignment, effective governance, and the successful execution of corporate priorities. Reporting directly to the Chief Corporate Secretary and working closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Director provides leadership and coordination across the organization to ensure strategic objectives are translated into actionable plans and achieved through effective collaboration.
They will work closely with CFMWS senior leadership, divisional teams, and Canadian Armed Forces stakeholders to advance key initiatives, support executive decision-making, and ensure alignment of corporate goals and priorities. The role is responsible for integrating the efforts of divisional staff, including Divisional Heads' Executive Assistants, coordinating governance activities, managing the corporate calendar, and ensuring the efficient operation of governance committees and senior-level forums.
The successful candidate will maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Office of the Vice Chief of the Defence Staff, and support corporate governance bodies such as the Non-Public Property Oversight Advisory Board and Audit Committee. Through strategic leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement, the Director will contribute to organizational excellence and the achievement of CFMWS's mission and strategic objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or a related field AND several years of managerial experience in corporate administration or a related field
