Demurrage / Claims Specialist – Tankers & Gas, Singapore

Are you experienced in laytime, demurrage and shipping claims and comfortable handling claims from calculation through to negotiation and settlement? We are partnering with a reputable international shipowner looking to strengthen its Tankers / Gas commercial team in Singapore. We would be keen to speak with candidates experienced in: Laytime calculations & demurrage billings Reviewing and compiling supporting cargo / voyage documentation Negotiating demurrage claims and disputes with charterers Freight calculations & invoicing Handling claims relating to cargo heating, speed-up and vessel deviation Interpreting relevant Charter Party clauses IMOS or similar shipping systems Candidates currently working in 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺𝘀, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 or 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 are welcome to explore.
