Investment Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Investment Analyst to join a dynamic investment environment, working across a broad range of products including fixed income, equities and other investment products. The role is a fixed term contract, based in West Sussex for a 12 month period.

This is a varied role combining investment analysis with operational, compliance and team leadership responsibilities. You will act as a key point of contact for investment-related queries, support the onboarding of new products and clients, and ensure processes remain compliant with relevant regulatory and internal requirements.

You will also take responsibility for managing and mentoring a small team, providing guidance, developing team members and helping to ensure a high standard of service and delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working across a range of investment products, including equities and fixed income
• Supporting product and client onboarding processes
• Managing compliance and ensuring appropriate controls are maintained
• Responding to investment and operational queries
• Analysing and interpreting investment data and information
• Working closely with internal stakeholders and external counterparties
• Managing, mentoring and developing a small team
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency

About you:

You will have a strong investment background with experience across multiple asset classes and a good understanding of investment operations and compliance. You will be analytical, organised and confident dealing with stakeholders, with the communication skills to lead and mentor others.
