Senior Backend Engineer – Real-time Systems
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join a team building high-performance real-time systems operating at scale. You will be responsible for designing and developing backend solutions focused on low latency, high throughput and distributed architectures . You will work on production systems, contribute to technical decisions and help improve engineering practices around scalability, reliability and performance. Daily tasks
- ・Designing and developing backend services using Node.js / TypeScript
- ・Building and maintaining real-time, distributed systems
- ・Developing scalable solutions focused on low latency and high throughput
- ・Taking ownership of backend components from design to production
- ・Working with AWS cloud infrastructure and production environments
- ・Collaborating with engineers on architecture, performance and reliability improvements
- ・Contributing to CI/CD processes and DevOps practices
- ・Ensuring reliable delivery of production-ready solutions
- ・Participating in technical discussions and improving engineering standards
Requirements
・ Strong backend development experience with Node.js / TypeScript ・Experience building and maintaining real-time systems ・Hands-on experience with distributed systems ・Understanding of low-latency and high-throughput architectures ・Experience working with AWS ・Experience building and operating production systems at scale ・Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices ・Proven track record of delivering solutions from development through production Nice to have: ・Experience with Kafka, streaming platforms or event-driven architectures ・Experience with performance optimization ・Knowledge of Rust ・Experience working with highly scalable infrastructure and backend systems
