Energy Sustainability Engineer Intern

Roles & Responsibilities: Operating system efficiency (OSE) report preparation. 

Documentation of the chiller system optimization design. 

Identify, design, and propose energy conservative measures (ECM) on the chilled water system which include: 

Instrumentations selection and design on the measurements and verifications (M&V) system (temperature sensors, flow meters, pressure sensors, weather stations, power meters) 

Centrifugal water pumps energy optimizations strategy 

Chillers energy optimizations strategy 

Cooling tower energy optimizations strategy 

Heat balance substantiating test 

Learning Outcomes and Objectives: Gain in-depth knowledge on HVAC (chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handling units). 

Gain understanding on how to prepare Operating System Efficiency (OSE) reports. 

Learn documentation of the chiller system optimization design. 

Gain understanding of a variety of energy conservative measures (ECM) on the chilled water system and how to identify, design, and propose them.  

Requirements: HVAC Fundamentals
