Thematic L/S Equity Analyst

ROLE OVERVIEW

Balyasny Asset Management is looking for an exceptional Equity analyst to work on a portfolio team in Switzerland. The role will focus on identifying structural themes, relative-value opportunities, and macro-driven dislocations.

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

• Investing and trading in publicly listed equities and relevant derivatives within cyclical markets
• Generating ideas by conducting top-down and bottoms-up fundamental work
• Supporting in financial statement analysis, cash flows, balance sheets, and maintaining consensus models
• Communicating with industry and sell-side contacts

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of relevant experience in an equity research role covering publicly listed companies
• Passion for public markets investing across cyclical sectors with ability to combine fundamental analysis with macro/thematic views
• Advanced understanding of accounting / financial statements
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Preference for Zug location
