Job title: Senior Accountant Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 Location: Bristol

About The Company A regional accountancy and business advisory practice providing accounting, VAT, and tax planning services to individuals and businesses. Known for delivering responsive, client-focused support, with expertise in VAT and sector-specific tax advisory services. What You Will Be Doing Manage a portfolio of SME, sole trader and limited company clients delivering accounting, tax and advisory services. Prepare and review year-end accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns. Provide personal and corporate tax planning advice, with a focus on VAT compliance and optimisation. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and deliver proactive business support. Lead client meetings to discuss financial performance, tax obligations and strategic planning opportunities. Review bookkeeping and financial records to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely submissions. Mentor junior team members, review their work and support the continuous improvement of internal processes and client service standards.
