Cloud Operations Specialist – EV Charging Network (OCPP)

Auto Gallery’s Energy Department is expanding its technical operations team to support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of commercial alternative energy infrastructure.

As we move forward with the development of commercial EV charging networks and utility-scale battery energy storage facilities, we are looking for specialized professionals who can contribute to the reliable operation and growth of these next-generation energy systems.

As a Cloud Operations Specialist , with the main focus on remote Network Monitoring & Cloud Management, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our commercial EV charging network. You will be responsible for monitoring the network remotely, identifying and diagnosing technical issues, and coordinating with on-site technicians when physical intervention is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the real-time status, charging sessions, and hardware health of the commercial EV charging network through a cloud-based Charging Station Management System (CSMS).

Perform remote diagnostics, fault logging, and over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates using Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP 1.6 / 2.0.1) standards.

Monitor and track network uptime and operational performance metrics.

Coordinate with on-site hardware technicians and arrange physical dispatch when remote troubleshooting or reset commands do not resolve an issue.

Contribute to maintaining the reliability, availability, and operational continuity of the EV charging network.

Proven experience managing EV charging infrastructure software.

Strong understanding of OCPP and WebSocket communication.

Experience with cloud platform administration and remote network monitoring.

Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively with both cloud-based systems and on-site technical teams.
