Tasks:

• Prepare and submit reports.

• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Establish work schedules.
• Train or arrange for training.

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Set up machines and equipment.

Supervision:

• Furniture and fixture assemblers and inspectors.
• Furniture finishers and refinishers.
• Other wood products assemblers and inspectors.
• Woodworking machine operators.
