Job description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified specialist pulmonologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage respiratory conditions, provide comprehensive pulmonary care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and sleep-related breathing disorders.

Evaluate patients with complex pulmonary and respiratory conditions.

Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and other relevant diagnostic procedures, where qualified.

Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient response.

Manage respiratory emergencies and coordinate care with emergency and critical care teams.

Provide follow-up care, patient education, and preventive respiratory health guidance.

Collaborate with radiologists, thoracic surgeons, intensivists, and other specialists.

Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.

Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

Qualifications

Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in pulmonology, respiratory medicine, or a relevant specialty.

Valid DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one.

Relevant post-specialization clinical experience at specialist level.

Strong knowledge of pulmonary medicine and current respiratory treatment protocols.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
