We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused specialist dermatologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of skin, hair, and nail disorders while delivering high-quality, evidence-based dermatological care. The role includes both medical and minor dermatological procedures in accordance with international best practices.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic dermatological conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails.
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations.
Develop individualized treatment plans using medical, procedural, and preventive approaches.
Perform minor dermatological procedures such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, excisions, and lesion removal.
Diagnose and manage common dermatological conditions including eczema, psoriasis, acne, fungal infections, vitiligo, urticaria, and skin cancers.
Educate patients on skin health, preventive care, and treatment compliance.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education activities.
Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and ethical medical practices.
Requirements
Qualifications
Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
Postgraduate qualification in dermatology (MD, DNB, Arab Board, MRCP, FCPS, or equivalent).
Eligibility for specialist registration with the relevant UAE health authority (DOH/DHA/MOH) or a valid UAE specialist license.
