Specialist, Industry Development & Advocacy
Job Responsibilities
The Specialist will supportASPRI's industry development efforts through member and partner engagement,coordination of initiatives and gathering of industry insights.
Responsibilities include, butare not limited to:
- Engage members to understand business needs, challenges and industry developments
- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, including government agencies, educational institutions and solution providers
- Gather and consolidate feedback from members and partners to identify key industry issues and observations
- Coordinate industry workgroups, stakeholder engagements and initiatives
- Support industry initiatives across areas such as workforce, digitalisation, sustainability, internationalisation and any other emerging industry needs
- Prepare reports, presentations and materials arising from industry engagements
- Coordinate projects with members and partners and follow up on agreed actions
- Undertake other industry development and engagement activities as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business or a related discipline
- Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with suitable aptitude may be considered
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with an interest in stakeholder engagement
- Able to gather information, understand different perspectives and communicate key observations clearly
- Organised, resourceful and able to manage multiple activities with good follow-through
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
