Leicester Start Date: Within the next month Location: Leicester Days: Monday-Friday, 5 days per week Rate: £100-£105 per day

Aspire People are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Leicester, with whom we have an established partnership. We're looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children and helping them reach their full potential. You don't necessarily need previous school-based experience - we're interested in hearing from people who have worked with children in any capacity.

Your experience could come from:

  • Working in a school or nursery
  • Sports coaching
  • Music or performing arts
  • Clubs or youth groups
  • Childcare or family support
  • Community or activity-based settings
  • Any other role where you have worked closely with children

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working with children in some capacity
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
  • Patience, empathy and a positive attitude
  • The ability to build strong relationships with pupils
  • A valid DBS, or willingness to obtain one
  • A relevant qualification relating to children or young people would be highly desirable, but is not essential
  • Reliability and a commitment to working 5 days per week
