Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Northampton
Aspire People are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work on a supply basis across Northampton and surrounding areas. We are looking for confident and reliable education professionals who are passionate about supporting pupils and making a positive impact in schools.
The Role
Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Northampton and surrounding areas Contract: Supply / Temporary Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available Start: ASAP Pay: Competitive rates
As an HLTA, you may be required to support teachers with classroom delivery, lead lessons and activities, provide targeted support to pupils and help maintain a positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working as an HLTA, Teaching Assistant or within a similar education role
- Has strong classroom management skills
- Is confident delivering lessons and supporting whole-class learning
- Is passionate about helping children achieve their potential
- Is adaptable and able to work across different school environments
- Is reliable, professional and committed
- Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (desirable)
- Has the right to work in the UK
