SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Salary: Ksh 50,000+ per month + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities                                             

 Generate and convert sales through WhatsApp, social media, phone calls and online enquiries.  Respond promptly and professionally to customers on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and WhatsApp.  Follow up on leads, enquiries and quotations and convert them into sales.  Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.  Achieve set monthly sales targets and grow the customer base.  Confidently present and explain products through short videos, product demonstrations and social media content.  Be comfortable appearing on camera and communicating naturally with customers.  Explain product features, benefits and applications in a simple and convincing way.  Understand current social media trends and how they can be used to generate sales and customer enquiries.  Handle customer questions, objections and product enquiries professionally.  Identify new sales opportunities and potential customers online and offline.  Work closely with the production and delivery teams to ensure smooth fulfilment of customer orders.  Monitor competitor activity and market trends.

Requirements

At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, hardware or building materials.  Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.  Excellent communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.  Experience in online sales, WhatsApp sales or social media customer engagement is highly desirable.  Comfortable speaking on camera and demonstrating products. Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.  Creative, confident, proactive and target-driven. A valid driving licence is an added advantage.
