Supply Chain Manager

1. Supply Chain Strategy & Planning

• Develop supply chain strategy, policies, and plans aligned with business objectives and the plant's production plan.
• Forecast raw material requirements (aluminium billet/ingot) and consumables in advance, in line with production schedules and customer orders.
• Prepare and monitor the overall Supply Chain department budget.

1. Procurement

• Manage the procurement process for raw materials, spare parts, and services to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery.
• Select, evaluate, and develop relationships with domestic and overseas suppliers/vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and purchasing contracts to control raw material costs.
• Monitor global aluminium (LME) price trends to inform procurement planning.

1. Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Manage raw material and finished goods warehouses to ensure accuracy, safety, and 5S standards.
• Set appropriate stock levels (min-max, safety stock) to reduce inventory holding costs while preventing material shortages.

•Control goods receipt/issue processes and ensure regular stock counts (cycle counts/physical inventory) are conducted.

1. Logistics & Distribution

• Plan and control inbound raw material and outbound finished goods transportation, both domestic and international.
• Manage transportation providers (3PL/freight forwarders) and import-export customs clearance processes.
• Coordinate with the Sales team to plan deliveries that meet customer required dates.

1. Production/Materials Planning (S&OP)

• Prepare Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and coordinate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process with Production and Sales.
• Monitor and resolve material delays or delivery issues that may impact the production line.

1. Cost Management & Process Improvement

• Analyze and drive continuous cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain.
• Improve work processes and leverage ERP/WMS systems to increase efficiency and data accuracy.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain/Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 8 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, warehouse, or logistics. At least 3-5 years in a managerial role. Experience in a manufacturing plant, particularly in aluminium, metals, or extrusion industries, is a strong advantage Solid knowledge of supply chain management principles, procurement, warehouse/inventory management, and production planning. Understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Strong negotiation, data analysis, and strategic problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement tools is beneficial Good command of English (listening, speaking, reading, writing) for coordination with overseas suppliers and customers Professional certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM are an advantage. Excellent communication and coordination skills, both internally and externally. Proficient in MS Office, especially advanced Excel.
