Senior Product Specialist – Regional Payments & Cash Management

Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Product Specialist – Regional Payments & Cash Management to support a strategic Transaction Banking initiative across multiple Asian markets. The role will focus on researching customer and market needs, identifying product opportunities and developing Payments and Cash Management propositions for corporate banking customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Research market trends, customer needs and competitor offerings across Payments and Cash Management.
- Identify product gaps, enhancement opportunities and new propositions.
- Analyse domestic and cross-border payments, instant payments, ACH, RTGS, collections, payroll, tax/statutory payments and corporate connectivity.
- Research country-specific payment capabilities, market practices and infrastructures.
- Develop product propositions based on customer needs and market opportunities.
- Analyse requirements for H2H, file-based connectivity, APIs, reporting and reconciliation.
- Conduct market and competitor benchmarking.
- Prepare product proposals, business cases and product roadmaps.
- Work with Relationship Management, Transaction Banking, Sales, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Technology and regional teams.
- Support product approval, implementation and launch activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Banking, Finance, Economics, Information Systems or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Transaction Banking, Payments, Cash Management, Corporate Banking Product or related banking functions.
- Strong knowledge of Payments and/or Cash Management products.
- Experience in product development, product management, product stategy, enhancement or banking solution design.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and/or cross-border payment processes.
- Experience in market research, competitor analysis or product benchmarking.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage initiatives in an evolving environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Advantage: Regional/multi-country Transaction Banking experience in Asia, exposure to Singapore/HongKong/Indonesia/Philippines/Thailand/Vietnam/Myanmar/Malaysia, and experience with H2H, APIs, collections, reporting or reconciliation.
