Job Description

Aldar Education is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Head of Primary to join the Senior Leadership Team of a high-performing British curriculum school in the UAE.

The successful candidate will provide strategic, educational and operational leadership across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and the preparatory years, ensuring a coherent and ambitious educational journey from FS1 to Year 8.

This is a substantial whole-school leadership role for an experienced, visible and credible leader who combines high academic expectations with excellent pastoral judgement. Experience within a UK independent, preparatory or through-school setting would be a significant advantage.

The successful candidate will:

Provide inspirational and highly visible leadership across the Primary School

Secure excellent standards of teaching, learning and pupil outcomes

Lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams

Ensure safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion remain central to school life

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and the wider community

Contribute fully to whole-school strategy as a member of the Senior Leadership Team

Ensure compliance with relevant UAE regulatory and inspection requirements

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree, a recognised teaching qualification and an appropriate leadership qualification. They must have at least eight years’ experience in education, including substantial senior leadership experience within a primary, junior or preparatory school setting.
