Responsibility:
- Conduct routine field inspections of assigned collection routes, premises and service locations.
- Monitor refuse and recycling collection activities to ensure compliance with schedules and service standards.
- Identify and report missed collections, overflowing/damaged bins, spillage, access issues and other service-related problems.
- Monitor drivers and attendants to ensure compliance with operational procedures, service standards and safety requirements.
- Attend to assigned service feedback and complaints, including conducting site investigations where required.
- Coordinate with drivers, attendants and Operations personnel to ensure timely rectification of service issues.
- Inspect refuse/recycling bins, bulk bins and collection points, and report requirements for repair, replacement or relocation.
- Monitor ground conditions and identify operational difficulties affecting collection routes and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records, photographs and inspection findings, and prepare daily or periodic field reports.
- Escalate significant incidents, recurring service issues, safety concerns and operational disruptions to the Operations team.
Requirement
- Minimum Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in waste management, environmental services, logistics, transport or field operations is advantageous.
- Able to perform outdoor field duties and work in different weather conditions.
- Able to work independently and respond to changing operational requirements.
- Possession of a valid Singapore driving licenceis advantageous due to the mobile nature of the role.
