Commercial Engineer
Review the main contract, specifications, BOQ, drawings, and commercial conditions .
Prepare and evaluate Variations / Change Orders .
Prepare monthly payment applications / interim payment certificates (IPC) .
Review quantities of completed work and coordinate with the Quantity Surveyor/site team.
Prepare subcontractor payment evaluations .
Monitor contract values, commitments, variations, and final accounts.
Identify contractual and commercial risks.
Prepare and submit claims related to additional work, delays, disruption, or changes.
Assist in preparing Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
Maintain records supporting contractual claims.
Review correspondence with the consultant, client, and subcontractors.
Prepare commercial reports for project management.
Monitor the financial impact of design changes and site instructions.
Assist with procurement and subcontract agreements .
Review subcontractor quotations and commercial proposals.
Negotiate commercial matters with subcontractors and suppliers.
Coordinate with Planning, Cost Control, Contracts, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance departments.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
