Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses. Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as required. Support management with financial insights and recommendations for decision-making. Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (ACCA, ICA, CIMA, or equivalent) is an advantage. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Additional Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Experience in construction, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial sectors is an advantage. Fluent in English; knowledge of French is an added advantage. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information.
