Electrical Superintendent

1.Safety, Health, and Environment: Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring all maintenance activities follow company policies, regulations, and international standards. Oversee the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) system, ensure Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) are conducted, and lead incident investigations with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.

2.Strategic Planning & Management: Work with the Planning Superintendent to develop short-, medium-, and long-term maintenance plans that maximize equipment availability. Monitor daily work to ensure quality and timely execution, support budget planning, and coordinate with Finance, IT, and Supply Chain. Develop and track KPIs related to cost, equipment performance, and maintenance efficiency.

3.Execution & Reliability Improvement: Shift maintenance from reactive to proactive by strengthening Preventive Maintenance (PM) and introducing Predictive Maintenance (PdM) techniques such as vibration and oil analysis. Manage workloads during breakdowns and shutdowns and ensure contractor performance aligns with safety and operational standards.

4.System & Asset Management: Implement structured work management processes and ensure changes follow Management of Change (MOC). Monitor KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and backlog levels. Optimize spare parts strategies and maintain accurate CMMS records to support reliability and cost control.

5.Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and train maintenance staff using skill matrices and structured development plans to build a high-performance, accountable team.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical or instrument engineering 5 years working within a complex mineral processing plant 3 years at supervisory level Experience developing and modifying maintenance strategies and budgets Thailand-approved manual vehicle licence Strong communication skills with strong English literacy Strong analytical skills, able to understand industry trends. Experience in managing large maintenance and Asset Reliability sections Practical knowledge in managing teams using a computerized maintenance system (CMMS), as well as an electronic cost control system in line with the best practices Proven experience in managing inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies and equipment and ensures reorders of spares are effective Practical knowledge in strategic and annual planning, budgeting, and applications for capital investments Ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate records Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards within the mineral processing industry
