Vessel Operations (Container Shipping) | Open to Seafarers Transitioning Ashore

Our client is seeking maritime professionals with container vessel experience who are looking to transition from sea-going roles into a shore-based Vessel Operations position. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your operational knowledge while gaining exposure to commercial shipping and vessel management in a dynamic office environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day vessel operations and voyage execution. Monitor vessel schedules, port calls, and operational performance. Liaise with Masters, agents, terminals, and internal stakeholders on operational matters. Support voyage planning, bunker coordination, and operational reporting. Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective vessel operations. Monitor voyage costs and operational KPIs. Resolve operational issues and minimize service disruptions. Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.

Requirements Certificate of Competency (CoC Class 2) is mandatory. Sailing experience onboard container vessels is required. Open to Second Officers, or senior ship officers looking to transition ashore. Prior shore-based vessel operations experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong understanding of vessel operations, port activities, and voyage execution. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Motivated to build a long-term shore-based career within the shipping industry.
