Consultant IT Governance

About the role:

The consultant – IT governance will join the TIDES program in Jeddah to lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. You will partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen cybersecurity, streamline business processes, conduct IT audits, and develop robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ISO 27001) aligned to organizational objectives

Conduct technical cybersecurity assessments and recommend remediation measures

Analyze and optimize business process management workflows

Plan and execute IT audit engagements to validate controls and regulatory compliance

Identify, assess, and manage IT risks through risk assessment workshops and reporting

Develop, test, and maintain business continuity management and disaster recovery plans

Prepare clear governance, risk, and audit reports and present findings to stakeholders

Deliver training and awareness sessions on governance, risk management, and compliance best practices

Required qualifications:

6–8 years of consulting experience in IT governance, risk, compliance or related areas

Technical expertise in IT governance frameworks such as COBIT and ISO 27001

Proven experience conducting technical cybersecurity assessments and implementing security controls

Solid background in business process management analysis and documentation

Hands-on experience performing IT audits and compliance reviews

Demonstrated ability to identify and manage IT risks with formal risk assessment methodologies

Practical experience developing and testing BCM and disaster recovery plans

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

Preferred qualifications:

Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC

Experience on government or large-scale programs in Saudi Arabia or the GCC

Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and emerging technologies

Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2)

Advanced degree or specialized training in governance, risk, and compliance
