The Opportunity:

Permanent, full-time opportunity Salary: up to $6000

The Client:

Adecco is partnering with a well-established community hospital dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centred care for adults and seniors. We are looking for a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team, where you'll play a meaningful role in helping patients regain independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualised occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor patient's progress.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers to support rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, quality, and patient safety guidelines.
• Support staff training and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills.
• A collaborative team player with a passion for patient-centred care.
