EHS Specialist
The Opportunity: Permanent Role Office Location: Central Work Hours: Mon to Fri $4,800 - $6,500 Basic + AWS + VB The Job: System Compliance & License Management: Oversee the EHS Management System to ensure total alignment with corporate rules and government regulations; directly manage the application, tracking, and timely renewal of all local authority licenses, permits, and certifications. Programs, Audits, & Risk Mitigation: Drive comprehensive safety, health, and environmental programs to maintain a secure workplace; partner with the EHS committee to conduct monthly meetings, site inspections, industrial hygiene monitoring, and hazardous substance risk assessments. Incident Management & WSH Collaboration: Partner closely with the Workplace Safety Officer (WSO) to review, update, and manage on/off-site incidents; implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and evaluate safe work methods to eliminate hazards and achieve a Zero Harm workplace. Audit Readiness & Documentation: Serve as the primary liaison with external certification bodies to schedule and coordinate assessments; compile and meticulously maintain all necessary documentation to ensure the site is fully prepared for internal and external audits. Culture, Training, & Stakeholder Guidance: Act as the subject matter expert providing clear SHE and security guidance to employees, contractors, and visitors; proactively promote a safety-first culture by leading engaging in-house health and safety campaigns.
